I love this mural I painted at the Francis Street entrance of the shopping centre because it’s a bit secret—you just stumble upon it. I represented the youthful energy of the area with Mitchell the Cockatoo, Rory the Rosella, and Kookaburra Craig. It’s got heaps of patterns and details, and one of the birds is sipping a smoothie. The shopping centre also features other local artists’ work on level 2. The graphic artist Kate Banazi created a cool large-scale piece with geometric shapes and patterns on perspex.
