Our detached/seperate guest house is small,but Its new, modern and tastefully decorated with a great seaside theme . It is perfect for the NON SMOKER solo traveller , NON SMOKER business traveller or a NON SMOKER couple .It is located at the rear of our property; its has a private and quiet setting which overlooks our swimming pool. The main area has the kitchen and pull out sofa bed, TV, a small table, a new modern bathroom and a large closet. The loft has the queen mattress bed, (this is accessed via a ladder, SO NOT ideal for people who aren't so nimble or comfortable climbing a ladder.For those who don't want to be in the loft the double pull out is super easy to use.
It comes with a queen size mattress (in the loft platform) and a double pull out sofa bed in the main living area, which doubles as the couch during daily use. It has a large closet for hanging clothes, along with a chest of draws inside the closet.
The guest house has a small modern kitchen, complete with fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and induction hot plate, along with cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery etc. There is a small fold up table for dining or office work. Host provides tea and coffee and snack basket for your stay.
Also equipped with internet, a wall mounted TV with Netflix and cable television.
It has a new modern bathroom with heated floors, walk in white marble shower and a white oak hung vanity. Access to laundry machines available to those staying a week or more.
We live in the main house and are available only if you want. We would be glad to help you navigate Vancouver, don't hesitate to ask. if you are arriving at a time when we are not at home or it’s late evening we will provide you with a access code to the guest house.
Its a 7 min walk down the hill to ambleside village & beach .Turn left at marine drive and walk 5 mins more you will reach park royal outdoor village and shopping mall, which has all the major stores, whole foods , cinema & great restaurants
It is 7km to downtown Vancouver.Public transit is very close and buses run very frequently to downtown, its typically 10 to 15 mins on the bus to downtown from 13th and marine drive , but in rush hour traffic can take up to 30 mins.(3 to 6pm is rush hour ) We have transit info /schedule available in the guest house along with local attraction and restaurant info.
Our tiny house is only available to NON SMOKERS,.There is free parking outside our house ,. For those staying longer than 1 week we can offer use of laundry machines in the main house.
