Head to Pittsburgh From Mt. Lebanon Cottage

Mt. Lebanon Cottage is a craftsman-styled home that fuses contemporary styles with traditional elements. Walk atop hardwood floors to the colorful kitchen and have a coffee for two on the deck nestled in the trees overlooking the garden or unwind on the front porch and enjoy the friendly neighborhood vibe. This is a three bedroom home with the third bedroom is a very bright and cozy attic. Craftsman woodwork and spacious kitchen provides a great space to gather. Easy walk to local shops and restaurants. Guest can access the entire house, front porch, deck and yard. The laundry is in the basement and it is a work in progress. We are are adding a full bath and small game room there so our tools and fixtures are there pending installation. AC has been installed and there are controls for three separate zones. There is a small garage attached to the space and you are welcome to use, however mosts guests opt to park on the street. I typically swing by if it works in our schedule but often don't see guests during their stay. It's very important to know we are serious about providing a great experience. If you want to meet -please let me know and if we missed anything or you need anything - don't go without-just ask and we will try to get what you need. For example: if the space is too warm or cold tell us and we will make sure that things are adjusted properly for you. We love this little neighborhood and want our guest to be happy. The home is in a walkable neighborhood of tree-lined streets and friendly locals. Head to town to browse the unique shopping boutique options and dine at tasty local restaurants. Hike in the nearby nature and visit Pittsburgh just minutes away. The Trolly Stop that is closest to us is the Dormont Station. The closest bus stops are on Beverly Road or Bowerhill Road. Uber and Lyft are also available. This space is not for events and if you are thinking you will need red solo cups during your stay - this is not a good fit. There are many areas that are staged with lovely little local items for guest to enjoy, the home is not childproofed and stairs are a little steep therefore we like to discuss these items with guests with small children.

Enjoy the finished Attic of our home. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The Attic is private. You are welcome to join us in the other parts of our home. Our home is in walking distance of Pittsburgh's light rail, with easy access to downtown Pittsburgh and sporting stadiums. Our home is in walking distance of "Uptown Mt. Lebanon," which has excellent coffee shops and restaurants. We have a pet dog, a black standard poodle named Luke. He is very playful. We keep him in our bedroom.

Basement apartment with private entrance and bath

A private side entrance and a large basement room with two lounging couches, a leather massage chair, and a queen size bed. Cable, wi-fi, and an additional hdmi plug are provided. Also supplied is a microwave, fridge and coffee pot for your convenience. You will have a private bathroom across the hall with a walk in shower. We are located within 15 minutes of all the major arteries around Pittsburgh as well as Downtown itself. We live upstairs and respect privacy and quiet hours.
