This home is perfectly located to use as a base camp to enjoy all of the great resources available in the Upper Peninsula. ~~fish, hike, hunt, kayak, bike, snowmobile, gamble, take in night life, rock hunt, golf, swim, explore, the options are endless.

Welcome to the Kingfisher Yurt at Great Lakes Yurt Camp in beautiful Paradise Michigan. This off the grid 16 foot yurt has two views of the Shelldrake river and is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all. Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required! The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

Relax in the serenity of Paradise View’s incomparable perspective of Whitefish Bay every morning when you awake. You will enjoy sun and moon rises from your living room, watch the birds, the freighters and the ever-changing moods on the bay. If you love hiking or snow shoeing, bird watching, cross country skiing or photography – this is the place for you. When winter arrives, we get lots of snow! Located just 14 miles from Tahquamenon State Park & 1-1/2 miles from Paradise.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Come and relax in the beautiful outdoors,along the shores of Lake Superior. 85k West of Sault Ste Marie. Many beaches in the area, historical sites, restaurants and tourist attractions. Terry and Sandy your hosts offer private fully equipped cabins with induction countertop stove and a microwave. If you can't get on here try the other site.

1 Bedroom Apartment in SSM, 2nd Floor

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this one bedroom apartment is cozy and close to amenities, bars and restaurants. Located at on a dead end street, the lack of traffic and noise makes for a peaceful sleep! It is the 2nd floor. Meaning there are stairs. Please do not book if you have issues with stairs.
