Its elevated simplicity is welcoming and homey while still achieving that pristine quality you desire. This upscale lodging is situated in the West Hill's prominent Willamette Heights neighborhood where historic classics meet the urban edge. The best part? The place is all your own! No worries about whether the TV will wake your host; no sounds of snoring will come through the walls; no need to tippy toe around to keep from bothering light sleepers and there will be no wake-up blast of somebody else's alarm clock! Just sweet, sweet privacy. Lighted parking a few steps from the door makes for safe and easy access, and a four number key code allows for arrival at any hour without concern of disturbing your hosts. Enjoy as much tea and coffee as you need to stay comfortably caffeinated. If you're lacking something important like a specialty kitchen gadget, personal item or office supply, let me know I'm happy to help! The garage of the Guesthouse cottage serves as my artist (painting) studio, so I am generally working on the premises if you need me. The Guesthouse Getaway is in a fun area with over fifty exceptional restaurants within a mile of the home. Go for a hike in the surrounding nature, check out some of the breathtaking galleries, and catch a live sporting event or show in the evening. Getting around is easy whether you prefer public transportation (bus stop is 4 blocks away), Uber, Lyft, taxi cabs, rental car, bicycle or foot. Enjoy the use of wifi or hard wire connections for internet access and basic cable TV with STARZ movies channels. This 850 sf. cottage is a century old but was completely updated 12 years ago with era-appropriate furnishings, giving it a period (and safe) feel. Breakfast goodies, art, books, and a woodstove make it cozy. It sits on half an acre so lots of room for kids . It's in SW Portland, minutes from downtown. It's quiet, great for working or vacationing. An outdoor fire pit and gardens make it unique. There's even a zip line for kids. Family gatherings also fine. (Note: There is a $60 fee per dog.)

Entire space is very private. Enjoy the cozy modern 1 bedroom queen bed, 2 large sofas that are comfortable to sleep on, oversize soaking tub large walk-in closet , 2 TVs, Blue Ray player, stereo, gorgeous private garden with table seating & tranquil water, feature, & private entry. 5 minute drive to downtown, 2 minute walk to get to Forest Park trails. Several amazing restaurants just minutes away. There is a pet fee or $40 each pet. Preferably just one pet or the fee is $70 for two.

A River (stream) Runs Through It

Okay, well, it's a stream, but it's all yours to enjoy. For the nature lovers we have deer, beavers, ducks, nutria, fish, etc. (think wetlands). For everyone, the house (duplex) is fully equipped with a fireplace, BBQ, hot tub central gas heat and central AC. This is a bright, clean and cozy space to land for folks who love the suburbs (not in the city city but we are close drive to the city center) but want to be surrounded by nature. With ambient noise from the creek and highway.

In the woods, next to a creek, but still in Portland! Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. There is a private entrance to this large two story guest suite, which includes a family room, living area with dining area and kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom, central AC, and private balcony. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to hiking trails in Woods Memorial Park. A 3-minute drive or 1 mile walk to popular Multnomah Village; 15 minutes from Downtown Portland.

Amazing Portland West Hills Home

Stonehaven is a unique Artsy home in the forested West Hills 6 miles from downtown Portland. Perfect for family and friends traveling together. Sleeps up to 15 with 6 bedrooms, 10 beds & 3 baths. Host lives on premises. Not a party house. Please note that the February wind and ice storms destroyed the back yard pond. The back porch is still usable, but has the "beauty" of the destruction of nature and not the beauty of the hard work of creating an elegant landscaped pond.
