The Retreat Cabin on the Lake at Marmutt Woods

Our goal is rest and renewal for our guests so they return home ready to serve others and encouraged to spend regular time in prayer and God's Word. Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Even if you are here primarily for some other reason, we hope you'll take advantage of the quiet time and provided materials.

This family-size, fully-enclosed suite with a separate entrance from the host's attached house offers all the comforts of home within 15 min. of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and premier outdoor experiences- hiking, biking, fishing, boating. Inside find bright spaces, full log beams, and a hobbiton feel; open concept living area with fully stocked kitchen, table, bunk beds, large couch, TV and Wi-Fi; bedroom with queen bed and stowed air mattress; full bath; play room. The entire suite space is yours.

This quaint and cozy cottage offers great views and access to some of the north woods finest lakes and scenery. Upper and Lower Post Lakes offer over 1100 acres of water and spans over 7 miles . Completely remodeled in 2020! Enjoy modern features in a rustic setting. 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a loft comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. Located on a private driveway. Make memories and enjoy this little slice of heaven. Hundreds of miles of snowmobile, ATV and hiking right from the doorstep.

The home is situated on 4 wooded acres (not lakefront) off a well maintained gravel road. Very private. No neighbors in sight. Wildlife is abundant. Dogs are OK w/approval & fee.

Our property on Little Gillett Lake is a special place. The cottage is new, but exudes the charm and character of classic Northwoods Americana. The clear, beautiful lake allows access to Big Gillett Lake and a tributary of the Oconto River by paddle. The Nicolet National Forest offers trails while nearby larger lakes provide beaches and access for motor boats. Swim, paddle, fish, snowshoe, ATV, snowmobile, hike, eat, chill... come enjoy some worry free relaxation or step away for an adventure!

Sasquatch Hideaway A-Frame |Sauna| Lake-ATV Access

Tucked away in the woods, and steps away from the national forest, this tiny home offers the tranquility you need to completely decompress. The Sasquatch hideaway offers you direct access to the ATV trail, a 600ft walk to the crystal clear waters of Paya lake. New for 2025 is a Wood fired barrel sauna for to decompress. The main offers a queen sized bed and the guest room offers a Full/Twin Loft bed, as well as a twin Murphy bed. There is also a massive sectional couch as a sleeping option.

Relax and play at this adorable cottage, on the water or on the trails. The Lake Effect on Lower Post Lake gives all the feels. It takes place before you arrive, the nature, the trees, the “up north” vibe. This beautiful lake home greets you with wonderful pine throughout. You can see the lake from the first steps in the door. It's modern and bright. The property sits higher up from the lake giving you an eye-level view of the peaceful surroundings. Plenty to do or not do, it's your call.

Secluded apartment at Summerwynd farmette

My place is quiet, serene and private, and secluded. Hear the rooster crow or collect your own eggs for your breakfast. Head down to the private pond to try your luck at fishing (no license required) or paddle boarding. If you need to warm up, use the sauna or the outdoor hot tub year round. It is an easy drive to the interstate. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets). ski Granite Peak. Hike the Ice Age Trail. Wintergreen Cabin #1 on Moen Lake Chain

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.
