The two-story boat dock allows excellent views of False River and offers a perfect covered seating area. If the season allows, guests are welcomed to use the fire pit located in the spacious back yard near the lake. The screened back porch and adjoining patio offers another location to take in the scenery.

This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. Our lake view home is located in Ventress on .37 acres for a peaceful and relaxing escape! Boat launch access to False River is 1.2 mile (2 mins) from the home, next to Bueche's Bar & Grill. Explore the Towns of New Roads, Saint Francisville, Baton Rouge attractions like BREC's Zoo, L'Auberge Casino & YES! Even LSU to check out a Tigers game! Enjoy home cooking on the pellet grill, taking in the beautiful scenery, finishing the night w/ friends and family by the fire pit.

Authentic Motor Court

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. This is our lovely cabin in the woods. Nestled in the rolling hills of the Tunica Trace, we are amongst some of the best cycling, birding, and hiking in the state. Our 41 acres boast a spring fed creek which runs year round through the tumbled down clay, sand, and loess of the toes of the Appalachians. Mixed native hardwood trees support a bevy of local wildlife.
