Whether you just want to relax, and/or get out and see the beautiful Mount Shasta area, the Sugar Pine is a great place to be!

It is a 4-minute drive from downtown, a quarter mile from the headwaters, and .2 miles walk to the Peace Garden.

Dunsmuir charmer located just across the Sacramento River. Just a short walking distance away you'll find Dunsmuir's best eclectic restaurants, coffee shops, and the local brewery. Whether you spend the day hiking to the peak of Castle Crags or snowboarding at Mt. Shasta Ski Park, you'll come home to a cozy wood-burning stove. The PCT is an 8 minute drive, Mt. Shasta City is a 8-10 min drive, and McCloud/Mt. Shasta Ski Park is just a 20-25 beautiful drive.

The Birch Tree Mountain Bungalow is a family retreat in the historic town of Dunsmuir, California – and your gateway to Shasta-Trinity National Forest. Spend time in a quiet and peace-filled getaway. Relax on the back patio, spend time with your dog in the gated front yard or enjoy the cool of the AC inside. Shasta Dam, Shasta Lake and Centimudi boat ramp are just 2 miles away. There are a couple great hikes and walks close by to enjoy also. Plus, if you have a boat/trailer, there is room for it in the driveway. Be on the watch for the wild deer and turkeys; and listen for the frogs at night too!
