Gaze out over historic St Michael’s Mount from this renovated Victorian apartment with heated floors. Stylish contemporary design pairs a coastal palette with period details, including high ceilings, exposed wooden beams, and an original fireplace.
No.3 is a beautiful top floor apartment within a recently renovated Victorian townhouse. It has stunning views across all of Mount's Bay including the magical St Michael's Mount and is a stone's throw from a beautiful sandy beach which stretches for miles. This is a very romantic and memorable spot (even our very well travelled friends agree with us on this).
The bedroom has a very comfortable double bed with scrumptious bedding. (We also have a fold out single bed and cot on request). The ensuite has a huge shower with a traditional style toilet and basin. You'll find a hairdryer in the drawer.
The main living area has a comfy sofa and an accent chair, a TV with the table and chairs positioned to make the most of the spectacular views or perfect for relaxing and losing yourself in a good book. (Check out our Free Little Library).
The kitchen/ diner is open plan with the living room and is bright and airy with high ceilings and exposed beams. The whole apartment has underfloor heating for your added comfort.
Enjoy the whole apartment and access it via the communal hallway and up two flights of stairs passing two other apartments that can be booked separately. There is also a sun terrace and relaxation area to the front of the house.
We aim to be around to welcome you on arrival and be on call for you during your stay and we also have a housekeeper who can support you during our absence. We know this is your holiday so your privacy is respected at all times so you will only see or hear from us if you need us.
By a long sandy beach opposite must-see St Michael's Mount, the home is a short walk from restaurants, bars, cafes, local shops, and galleries. Walk the coast path to Mousehole or Praa Sands, and look out for dolphins, seals, and whales in the Bay.
Most of the attractions in Marazion can be reached by foot although there are regular buses. It is advisable to have a car to take full advantage of all of the neighbouring towns but many can be reached by bus from outside the house or by train from Penzance. There is a regular ferry that runs from Penzance to the Scilly Isles. The costal path is perfect for a long walk which takes you through Penzance on to Newlyn and then Mousehole . Whilst taking the opposite direction will take you to the fantastic beach at Praa Sands. The bird reserve at Marazion Marsh is world renowned and is famous for Aquatic Warblers.
The Minnack Theatre, Mousehole and Lands End are all a short drive away.
There are two other apartments within the house that are available to book along with a little cottage to the rear. There is ample parking at the front of the house and a terrace area with chairs for relaxing. All we ask is that you respect other guests who are also staying with us and may also like to use the communal spaces.
We have a little free library in the communal area where guests can give up the books they have already enjoyed in exchange for a new one.
