It is a 25 minute hike in to the jungle you will be learning about the natural vegetation used for medicine by the natives of Las Monas. The Experience lasts 2.5-3.5 hours depending on how long you would like to be at each waterfall and swim in the natural pools. You do not have to swim if you do not want to ;) Once we get to the Waterfalls you will get to swim in the 10 natural pools or jump from the top of the waterfalls. GO TO THE OCEAN! 2 hours Surf Lesson with David Segura, Surf Instructor (ISA Certificate) also 20 years experience teach surfing in Jaco Beach and the area. Once on the beach we will talk about the characteristics of the waves and a description of the beach. Then we will do a little surfing theory class to learn the safety recommendations, surfboard manipulation, correct positioning for paddling, correct positioning of the body on the board, how to get up, balance and posture, recognition of when to grab the wave, and how to enjoy it to the fullest. Then we will practice surfing in the sea. We will use one instructor for every two students to ensure good service and safety. The class can be in shallow water for those who are not used to the ocean. If yo don't know how to swim, it will be not a problem. We can do the practice where you can stand on your feet. For the inter-mediums or more advanced we can go out to the line up. It will always depend on swell conditions too.

Our guests will be greeted at our barn located steps away from the gorgeous Beach of Esterillos Este. Here we will match you with one of our beloved horses and adjust your equipment, we will provide basic tips and instructions on how to ride. Once we are all set and ready we will take our private trail to the beach that is one of the largest beach stretches in Central America. We will pass palm and almond trees that are shelter and food for macaws, parrots, toucans, monkeys, squirrels, sloths and Iguanas, crossing little rivers and riding where the Jungle meets the Ocean. Learn to surf or improve your skills with a Jaco local! Jaco boasts one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica and learning to surf here is a must! In our session we will first practice on the beach and get familiar with what to do, then head into the water and have fun! I can guarantee you will be standing on the wave by the end of the lesson! Surfing is for everyone of all ages and activity levels welcome! You can pay in cash either $40 pp.

We will get you to the best surf spot according to your level, where we will teach you all theory for about 20 minutes then take you from the white water to the line up and ride the best waves, If you need a break we can do it at anytime or just continue practicing for the next 70 minutes. Finally we will have some water to refresh after the surf session and take you to Jaco viewpoint to take some photos and make this experience unforgettable.
