The snowmobile trail is a block away, Finlandia University down the street, downtown Hancock a short drive away, and just minutes from MTU! Plenty of off street parking and a cozy backyard! Main floor has hardwood floors, high ceilings, office/extra sleeping space (with futon), spacious living room, and eat in kitchen! Three bedrooms upstairs (1 queen bed, 1 full bed, 2 twin beds) and a full bathroom.

Captains Quarter's House

Captains Quarter's is located in a unique fishing village with the Big Traverse River on one side and Lake Superior on the other. Inside the home large windows provide views of both the lake and the river. Your private beach on Lake Superior is 110 steps away from the back door. The sunrises along with views of the Huron Mountains, sandstone cliffs of Louis Point are a site to see, from the comforts of the home. Snowmobile trail is very close just 9/10's of a mile away.

This peaceful paradise awaits your arrival, located just 15 minutes from Houghton and MTU. Sleeps 6 total. We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.

Enjoy peaceful mornings watching families of geese and ducks paddle by from the covered porch, fishing off the dock to catch dinner, followed by a dip in the lake during peak sun hours, and a campfire at dusk.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the Silver River. A cozy log cabin beautifully hand crafted by the owner himself. There is one queen size bed along with a futon that folds out into a twin bed and a convertible couch which also folds down into a twin bed. Enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, skiing, 4 wheeling, hiking, kayaking, boating, fishing, hunting and much more!
