The Willard Mill House - A Forest & River Getaway

Little House on the Hill - Gorge Getaway Home Base

This little house started life as a woodworking shop. When we outgrew it, we made it into a guest house. It may be imperfect, but it's perfectly adorable. We have a peek of Mt. Hood from the yard and lovely territorial views. At night, you can enjoy the beauty of a Milky Way sky far from city light pollution. Come. Enjoy. Relax. You'll feel right at home in this well equipped, comfortable home central to all gorge activities. Three bedrooms with memory foam mattresses and a queen size aero-bed in the living room means this home will comfortably sleep up to 8 guests.

Beautiful inside and out, Blackbird Cottage is located on 9 wooded acres. You'll have the entire second floor which includes a separate entrance, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and deck with picnic table and grill. There are 3 queen beds and a twin bed, sleeping 7, plus a twin air mattresses if you want to get cozy. Explore the garden with goldfish & koi ponds, 1100' of creek, 2 waterfalls, & picnic area. Owner lives downstairs. No animals allowed (allergies).

White Salmon Retreat - Tranquil, Pet Friendly

We designed and built our White Salmon Retreat to be a family-friendly, pet-friendly ($20/pet) and therapeutic space set in the trees where your soul can find rest and relaxation. Our Retreat is surrounded by mature Fir, Oak, and Maple trees and frequented by the local wildlife. We are excited to share this space with you. Fully stocked kitchen! We use scent-free laundry soap and cleaning supplies. Washer/Dryer. Deck with fire pit table and gas grill. Nectar mattress is SO COMFORTABLE!

Elsie's View: Cozy Vintage/Modern Cabin

We are nestled in the woods within a stone's throw of the stunning White Salmon River. Our cabin dates to the 1920s (one of the oldest in the area but we recently updated it). 4 people max. We are best for 1 or 2 adult couples (one queen and one full size bed are available). A couple with one or two kids works okay too. What doesn’t work great are 4 adults who sleep separately since that means using the pull out couches downstairs. Well-behaved dogs okay with advance notice.

A small, cozy cabin perched above the White Salmon River, just minutes from town. Enjoy the expansive 180 degree views from your private little forest oasis or take advantage of the central location to explore all The Gorge has to offer.
