In the very centre of Lisbon (where your apartment is located) you will have Chiado. Here you can find many of the main points of interest in Lisbon within minutes of walking distance (I’ve put them in the order it would make most sense to me, but it’s all very close): - Café a Brasileira, Literally a few minutes walking distance from the apartment - probably the most traditional caffe in Lisbon, is an obligatory stop for those who want to enjoy a nice snack and enjoy a place that retains the glamor of the most famous European cafes. With tables arranged in the internal and external area, it is possible to spend a very pleasant time alone or in the company of friends and family. In addition, in front of this café, a statue was built in honor of the eternal and great poet Fernando Pessoa, since this Café was one of his favorite places in Lisbon, where he certainly had many inspirations. - Praça Camões Right next to A Brasileira you will find the main Lisbon square, named after the most famous Portuguese poet - Luís Vaz de Camões - Convento do Carmo Built in 1389 and initially occupied by Carmelite friars, this convent consists of one of the great symbols of the Portuguese architectural wealth, being one of the most visited tourist spots in Lisbon. The place gains a special beauty especially in the late afternoon and early evening, when sunset or artificial light establishes a contrast of colors in the gray of this building. - Museu do Design e da Moda For those who love to learn more about the history of fashion and design, a visit to this museum is a must for anyone visiting Lisbon. Located on Augusta Street, this historic building features a collection of more than 2500 items that marked the trends of the world fashion. Besides the opportunity to make excellent photographs, it is possible to make a pleasant return to the time, also enriching the historical knowledge. - Rossio Station In addition to visiting this station, due to the train routes, it is essential to reserve extra time to enjoy the beautiful architecture of the place and, of course, to take great photos, either during the day or at night. Both in the internal and external areas of Rossio Station, the small details of the caprice used in Portuguese constructions are perceptible. - Praça do Comércio/Arco da Rua Augusta Located on Augusta Street, Praça do Comércio is another of the main (and most visited) sights in Lisbon. In addition to the architectural beauty of the place that yields great photographs, it is possible to sit in one of the cafes and bars located in this square to simply observe the movement of people while the tourist enjoys the beauty of this area of the city. - Sé de Lisboa The Sé de Lisboa, also known as the Church of Santa Maria Maior, is undoubtedly one of the most striking points during the visit to Lisbon. Maintaining the Gothic architecture, especially the interior of this place is impressive. It is necessary to give a special highlight to the cloister of this church, making visitors feel in the middle ages.

A magical village which is a 45 minute train ride away from Rossio station and it’s definitely worth it. There you have amazing palaces like Palácio da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros. It is built in the middle of Serra de Sintra (Sintra’s mountains) and the village itself is very petty with loads to see and eat. Probably the most touristic place but don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll love it.
