Classy place where the city hall (old + new) is located. FC Bayern Munich are having their parties on the city hall balcony after they won big tournaments. I reccommend to have breakfast at Cafe Glockenspiel which is located across the city hall and you have a nice view from the top of the building. To have an event better view if it is open, take the stairs to the top of the St Peter church at the corner next to Hugendubel book store (it costs a few Euros) and you have an amazing view on sunny days you can even see the Alpes. Most guides feature to climb the tower of Frauenkirch (cathedral close by) or the city hall which you can do as well and there is an aleveator so that would be a less sporty option, but the advantage of St. Peter church tower is you have a nice view towards both buildings as well wich are both main sights.

Locals surf here day and night, winter + summer it is one of the most famous (and dangerous) spots if city river surfing. Take the tram of walk from Station Odeonsplatz (10 mins) through the Hofgarten which used to be a royal garden.

Versaille palace near Paris was used as inspiration for this castle built by "Kini Louis" as v´bavarians call the fairy tale castle budiling king. I reccommend to check out the garden which is gratis and maybe have a coffee at "Palmenhaus" which is a café in the garden. Swans are around the castle usually as well.

It is a ship restaurant/bar on top of a bridge with all kinds of events year round small concerts, poetry slams, street food etc. Also there is a back yard beergarden style but more alternative/fancy where it`s amazing to sit outside during warm summer nights or have a mulled wine during winter market.
With public transportation take the train to Impler or Poccistreet and it´s a few mins walk from there. It may not be on your radar but it´s worth it.

THE best sour dough bread in town. Prices aren‘t low but everything is freshly handmade and if you‘re looking for the best this is it. Julius went to school with one of my friends and is now well known among German bread lovers :).

I reccommend to buy some food at the market, Pretzels, cheese (e.g. "Obatzder" which is an amazing bavarian creamy beergarden cheese in one of the stands, get something to drink in the beergarden and enjoy watching people. It is a bavarina beer garden tradition to bring your own food to the beer garden as long as you buy sth. to drink.

Bring ear plugs if you‘re noise sensitive
Since the apartment is in the most central location especially during the weekends there might be some noise outside the little street in front if you like to sleep with the windows open. If you close them they block the sound quite well. :))
