The scenery is beautiful and comes with great food hospitality at the Pressing Shed Cafe. I will not say more, but my best dish is the fishy one. You may also get a tour of the workings of an olive growers processing plant. The Nullamunjie Extra Virgin Olive oil produced here is what I most often use in my cooking. I have a 48 year association with this area of the Tambo Valley and have watched Annie make the Olive Grove a thriving business. Sadly, it is only open seasonally from October through to Easter on weekends from 10:00am - 4:00pm.

Great cuisine and a drink or two at the Swifts Creek Pub. Welcomed in by local people. A warm fireplace to stop at in winter on the alpine road journey. A range of beers on tap and just generally good hospitality.

Also situated on top of the hill in Omeo the Hilltop offers good meals on a budget, good drinking company and entertainment from time to time. Is a notable stop when travelling out to the Omeo Valley Highway, Corryong, Benambra, Limestone and other places east.

A stunning drive whether in a two wheeler or 4 wheeler. The 40Km graded road offers wonderful views of the Tambo Valley. 4x4 tracks offer even more and a challenge to the offroader on 4 or 2 wheels. Moscow Villa has a history of its own and was first built by Bill Achau who was a forrest ranger a long time ago. His is one of the few high country huts that is a must visit... and stay over if you can.
