Nice building. While the outdoor architecture has caused many debates, the atmosphere inside is much more peaceful and warm. Most of the building is open to the public, and it is easy to go and see Parliament sessions. If you are visiting Scotland it is a great way to come and understand devolution.

It's a fairly easy walk up paved paths and stairs. There are no better views of the city... You can get even better views by paying a small entrance fee and climbing up the tower.

Very great spot for panoramic views of Edinburgh. You have two options for your ascent: the easy route which is mostly grassy and the challenging part with rocks. I usually opt for the challenging route, but at the end of the day, the view is the same regardless of how you get there! Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Edinburgh.
