This is a hidden entrance to a cave in La Jolla that you can pay $1 to walk down through to the water. There are also sea lions and seals sunning on the rocks near by. If you have not visited this area before you have to check it out.

It is an amazing drive to the end of Point Loma with incredible views of downtown. There are also two lighthouses here, one in use and one historic one no longer in use worth checking out.

If you don't mind going for a bit of a hike this is worth the effort. Just google it for tons of famous pics of people suspended in air on the edge of this rock. Make sure to bring plenty of water with you and some sunscreen as there is little shade along the trail.
