A Cozy modern self contained garden room set in very peaceful surroundings. Free fast 50+MB wifi and easy parking at your doorstep. 10 minute walk to the centre of Portree and 5 min walk to the big Supermarket. Luxury Divan Kingsize bed and instant electric heating. Central Skye and easy to reach all attractions and plentifull restuarants. Enjoy
Shower, Kitchenette (no hob) and outdoor seating with a garden view. Instant heat shower with basic toiletries provided. Spotlessly clean for you.

There is a Fridge, Microwave (no hob) and chopping board to prepare salads, cheese or cold meats. There is also a kettle and toaster for your convenience. There is no stove or ringed cooker.

We provide hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in the en-suite.

There is also a covered patio with seating and a table to provide outdoor space.

You are in a very safe, secluded and private space but with a large garden area.

Tea, coffee and some milk will be provided during your stay as well as shampoo and body wash.

UNIQUE to your stay in Portree is FREE to use leisure cards at the The Fingal leisure centre which is only 400 metres back down Dunvegan Road. There is a swimming pool, sauna and steam room to relax after a days hiking/touring. There is also fitness classes to enjoy as well as climbing wall, fitness room, badminton and short tennis (restrictions may apply). The leisure cards are in the welcome brochure and please return after use.

The Digital Smart TV works with all the BBC, ITV, Channel 4+5 and You Tube Apps so catch up and live TV is available. With patience there is an excellent choice of viewing. The internet is a blazing 50 plus mb so no problems with streaming and work related needs.

The Isle of Skye Bakery is on our doorstep for lovely fresh Bread and local produce. Great for Breakfast or Lunch. Gluten free options.

Quiet location in Portree that is just 400 metres from the Fingal Centre/ High School. you are situated directly across from the Isle of Skye Bakery. The road entrance is directly opposite Macraes Shell garage and 100 metres up from Tighnacollie B&B.

All facilities nearby that the village has to offer. The surrounding area of our chalet has not been fully developed so please take this into consideration.

The main Grocery store the COOP is 5 mins walk for essentials.

We would like to offer you a calm and relaxed time in the heart of Portree.
Feel free to ask for recommendations or advice and just knock on our door. I am a Teacher at the local High school and Karen is a Leisure supervisor at the Fingal Centre which is the community part of the school. I have lifelong interest in sports and am very interested in our changing economy. Karen is very knowledgeable about the local community people in it. Together we can help you with most things and we can always chat.
