The antique carved windows and pillars takes you back down the ancient road giving you a peaceful vibe.
The main attraction is the open veranda with artistic pillars and the sea breeze blowing through your hair giving you a relaxed and calm feeling.
The front yard is a safe place for children to play and build their sand castles.

From Emmanuel beach house take a walk on the beach northwards and at about a km you will find the Surathkal light house. It is built almost a century back on a granite mound. This place is a famous tourist spot.

In Mangalore city we have the Sri Gokarnatheshwara temple, Kadri Manjunath temple. A visit to St Aloysius Chapel also is also worthwhile, which is known for superb fresco painted in the late 1800s by the Italian artist Brother Moscheni.

Mangalore is also famous for its tile and cashew factories.

Mangalore has a lot of green cover, every where you find coconut palm fringed layouts. A drive towards Karkala 50 kms is worth while where enroute at Moodabidri you can visit the 1000 pillar temple. Karkala is a old town famous for the monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara.

Around 75 kms north of the beach house is the famous Kollur Mookambika temple. 50 kms eastward is Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara temple and it is about 70 kms to the Kukke Subramanya temple.

Mangalore is famous for its coastal delicacies. Seer fish, pomfrets, crabs, prawns, local Kane etc are served in various styles like ghee roast, masala fry, thava fry, rava fry.....

From my childhood I had an attraction for anything old made of wood ceramic or glass. I pursued my interest and collected handcrafted components of century old houses. After acquiring a property on the beach I used my collection to build the beach house. I am sure you will get a real feel of staying in a heritage home with modern comforts. The beach is just a hop step and jump from the house. You should stay over to experience the feel of a private beach in a friendly neighbourhood.
