Secluded, Beautiful lake home, sandy beach right out back. Multiple levels of decking, multiple levels of interior living, yet you can find quiet nooks to be alone or have conversations. Remote, yet close enough to town to go in for a movie or dinner. Something different, than you'll find in most rural areas.

We have plenty of indoor seating (12-16 alone at the farmhouse table) and patio seating outside for even more.

We have multiple sofas, love seats and chairs to accommodate guests throughout the home.

Join us as we renovate this great space on 2+acres. This summer we completed 900 sqft of elevated decking and 140' of cable railing, complete with lighting and fans for the decking and areas below. Additional new batten board siding is also going up. Bunk room and bathroom on the walk-out basement level just completed! Come back regularly to check our progress.

SPECIAL NOTE / CAUTION
This is a city reservoir. That means after treatment people drink this water. Please keep that in mind when using the lake and surrounding areas.

The watershed for this lake is about 10 square miles, lake levels vary. In parts of the spring and fall rainy seasons, there may be little or no sandy beach area as the lake level may rise by up to 5' due to heavy rains. The lake will still be accessible, but no wake may be allowed. Host will alert you if they know of adverse conditions.

Note because the lake has a static spillway it generally returns to normal pool within a day or two after the rain abates.

Memorial Day thru Labor Day The beach will be cleaned of debris at the beginning of your stay. Small amounts of debris may accumulate daily, there is a rake on site for easy clean up.

Only part time homes in this 3 home 5 lot subdivision. Farm to the North. Lake to the south. Quiet and secluded. Anybody coming past the Nest is coming to our home.

The lake traffic is light except for peak holiday weekends. Even then we don't generally see more than 5 or 6 power boats at a time.

Hi, we've owned the neighboring lake property for over 12 years. We've been hosting family, friends and strangers at our home since then. Most of the strangers have been friends of friends or via charity works, folks using our home via charity auctions for a up to 3 weeks a year.

My husband and I are both experienced professionals, Susan in Banking, RE and Accounting, J in RE, Law and education. We travel extensively to all parts of the world and have used BNBs and AirBnb and its competitors for decades.

We've owned and operated a captive RE management enterprise for over 25 years. Currently we have over 60,000 sqft of residential and commercial Ppty under management. It's a growing and thriving part of our experience. We love meeting new people, whether working, traveling or socializing. Hosting an Airbnb property seemed like a comfortable blend of our diverse world.
