Perfect for exploring the Rivers and Creeks and swimming holes. Mountain tops for bushwalking for panoramic views. Types of accommodation are varied from Camping by the River to a modern comfortably furnished house.

Located in a Rural area 4km from the township of Millaa Millaa where there is Food Cafe, Takeaway, Hotel, General Store. Fuel is available at store and Highway near turnoff to Millaa Millaa Falls.


No one can deny the beauty of the property with views to Mt Bartle Frere Queensland's highest mountain all the way down to the Coast near Innisfail. The river has greal swimming holes fringed by rainforest.

Located in a quiet part of the world. Views from our farm are stunning all round. You will get to see green paddocks fringed by the dark rainforest pockets. Beatrice River is full of clean clear water+ sky will be blue with no pollution. On a clear day you can see 80 plus km away with the sea and islands in the distance. Area conists of mainly Beef + dairy farmers

My partner Rick and I have traveled and worked extensively throughout Australia and Asia. We have experienced some of our best holiday memories when staying in special places with special people. So now we would like to offer the same. We enjoy the outdoors so with a small rainforest on our block we let the outdoors in rather than lock it out. We have renovated with the environment in mind. We encourage recycling. We are particularly conscious of our impact on the environment and we ask guests to respect our desire to conserve energy. We can suggest itineraries to tour the area catering for all different interests. We can also suggest some great places to visit that are not saturated by tourists that are little bits of paradise or even to our own farm with a crystal clear river on the boundary up in the Misty Mountains. Our Beef Cattle farm on the Tablelands is our other interest. Our desire is protect and preserve our land for the future. We are trying to also minimise our impact on our farmland by preventing erosion and eradicating weeds. Our River flows to the Great Barrier Reef so we take our farm practices seriously. We love our cattle and Harry the dog (Australian Cattle Dog) is a constant companion but he does not live indoors. We also love that we have Tree Kangaroos, the occasional Cassowary on our property at Millaa Millaa and in Cairns we still get visits in our rainforest from Torres Strait Pigeons, Scrubfowls and Bandicoots.
