PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING: Crows Nest is a one bedroom unit with a queen sized bed and futon. It is located on the Keuka Lake wine trail and next to Red Jacket Park. Very close to a Marina and Penn Yan/Yates County Airport. I want to draw attention to the fact that it is NOT water front. Keuka is accessible thru Red Jacket Park and visible from the property, but not directly on the water. Please use satellite imagery:). There is a sidewalk from property to town for Guests who prefer to walk.

Nice, large backyard for your relaxation with lots of shade. 1/2 mile + walk (1 mile to town center) to the very interesting and historic downtown Penn Yan...antique stores, taverns, restaurants, art galleries, and unique boutiques. Directly next to apartment, at Red Jacket Park there is swimming, weather providing, and is pet friendly. Park also has picnic tables, benches and nice views of the Lake and Marina. Yates County Airport is less than a mile away.
Apartment is located on the second floor with a private outside entrance. Lock is keypad entry. There is a full kitchen and the bath/shower is equipped with a whirlpool tub. Parking is off street.

I was born in Western NY and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. Finished my baccalaureate degree of Horticulture at Penn State University, State College. Before completing my degree I began driving tractor trailer (1993) and have been doing so ever since either part or full time. I have a true passion for driving, travelling, walking, and for music. I also love working on and bringing old buildings back to life.
My driving experience is throughout the lower 48 states, Ontario and Quebec. Seeing the country is magnificent from the seat of a tractor trailer, but the work is not for everybody.
In addition, I have a genuine interest in history and genealogy. I was drawn to Penn Yan because of the local history associated with, and proximity to, my extended family. My husband of 21 years is also very excited about living in this area and shares my passion for driving... and old buildings :)
The Finger Lakes Region of NY is beautiful, and the water in the lakes is like no other, in my opinion. I feel lucky that when I was young I was able to spend time on Canandaigua Lake each summer with my Grandparents. It is my hope that everyone who wants too, can find an opportunity to enjoy all the wonderful things that the Finger Lakes has to offer!
