Pretty sunny cottage, Machynlleth

A lovely old renovated cottage with inglenook fireplace, wood burning stove and mezzanine. It is well equipped for your stay as I have tried to make it a home from home for you with many books and houseplants. There will always be some welcome goodies and you can sleep in snuggly beds made up with 100% cotton or organic cotton sheets and feather and down duvets. The cottage is situated in the pretty wooded Dulas valley near the historic town of Machynlleth, close to Snowdonia and the sea.

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. This property is set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and is perfect for a couple or small family to enjoy the peaceful village and beautiful walks near by. The property is a 1860s grade 2 listed build full of character and charm, enjoying stunning views looking up the valley. We have sympathetically restored the property with its sash window and flag stone flooring, however it still includes all the mod cons to ensure a delightfully chilled holiday.

Glangwynedd Cottage

A cosy self catering cottage in attractive rural location near the river Dulas. Within walking distance of the old market town of Machynlleth and railway station. Close to mountains, rivers and coast. There is one bedroom with a double bed and the other bedroom sleeps 3 in bunk beds and a single bed. Downstairs in the lounge is a double sofa bed. Heating is provided by storage heaters and a woodturning stove at cooler times of the year.

The Green Room is attached to our family home, with a comfortable double bed, adjoining wetroom and kitchenette, in a convenient town location, easy access to railway and bus links, and off-road parking. With FTTP internet access, television with a full Sky package (including Sports and Cinema), Blu-ray player with discs and your own key and separate door you can come and go as you please. Well behaved pets are welcome.

‘Cut Y Barwn’ is a private Shepherds Hut located on the Southern edge of Snowdonia National Park. Situated just off the A458, 3 miles before Mallwyd and 8 minutes drive to Dinas Mawddwy, the hut has private access, parking, and farmland valley views. Our electricity is sourced through hydro power and our wood is from wind-fallen trees on the farm. We are dog friendly!
