The house in the bush

We offer our former family home in the true original spirit of Air BnB. Our house is not a hotel but we are confident it has everything you need to enjoy a true hospitable Australian experience. Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac, this home in the bush is the perfect spot from which to enjoy local attractions such as The Territory Wildlife Park, jumping crocodile cruise, Litchfield National Park, Fogg Dam, Mary River Park and is just a two hour drive from Kakadu, or 40 minutes to Darwin.

Cabin Located Next to Pool on 5 acres

The Cabin is located on a 5 acre block in Leanyer. The top 2 acres are laid out in tropical garden setting with the other 3 acres set out with native Darwin plants visited by lots of native animals and birds. Chill out by the pool, marvel at the local wildlife, enjoy amazing sunsets. The place is only 2 minutes to local supermarket, 5 minutes to a local large shopping centre and 15 minutes to Darwin CBD. The bathroom is a shared facility. Pets please check with us first before booking.

Herbert hideaway. Rustic cabin.

Surrounded by native bush and tropical gardens is Herbert hideaway, inc an air conditioned demountable, with 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen & partially enclosed patio. Situated across from faiths lagoon & blackjungle nature reserve, a gateway for the avid bushwalker or bring the bikes/buggies & enjoy the endless trails. Located just 13min to Humpty Doo, 12min to Coolalinga shopping centre, 35min to Darwin CBD, 75min to kakadu entrance, 60 min to litchfield park and 50min to corroboree billabong.

Franklin is a fully renovated 1966 Franklin Safari Caravan - retro ambience with all the modern conveniences - microwave, induction cooktop, TV & DVD, aircon. In an amazing bush camp with full use of amenities including shower/composting toilet, camp kitchen, fire pit with rustic seating and bbq . Enjoy fresh eggs from our resident chooks. Franklin lives on one of the 4 powered sites - invite your friends to camp too (Powered sites $30). Courtesy Pick-up & Drop-off-Airport & Bus Stations.

Perfect gateway to the Territory main National Parks and reserves. DOGS ARE WELCOME OUTDOORS.

Located on 5 beautiful acres, where you can enjoy your own private space. The deck is the perfect spot to watch the storms roll in or enjoy a beautiful Territory sunset. You can also hop into the pool directly from the deck. The space is all yours! Open plan lounge and kitchen, spacious bathroom and bedroom. If you have extra guests, there is a fold out couch. and we can also organise a porta-cot if you have a little one. Pets negotiable! We know you will love your stay.

'The Ringers Cottage' Rural Retreat

Enjoy the tranquility of tropical rural living in a stand-alone cottage, with a fully fenced garden, located at the front of a 5 acre property. Just off the Arnhem highway, the cottage is close to shops and is a gateway to Kakadu, popular fishing locations as well as being close to Litchfield and other attractions. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a well stocked bookshelf and lots of board games for you to enjoy. A great place for you to relax and unwind.

Country Cabin - dog friendly

Fully self contained independent cottage. Tropical front verandah looking out to natural bush. Set on 10 acres in a quiet area, secure and safe. Lounge, tv, dining area, kitchen, fridge, bedroom with queen size bed and separate bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and tub. Pets allowed as spacious securely fenced lawned area. Dogs can be safely left in the yard if you go out. I can check on them if requested. Unfortunately internet is not reliable.

Tropical Calm

Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful escape at this one-of-a-kind retreat. Nestled in 5 acres of beautiful tropical gardens, it's just a 35-minute drive from Darwin CBD. You'll find local supermarkets and shopping centres just 10 minutes away, and it's the perfect base for exploring Litchfield National Park and Kakadu. The private apartment can comfortably accommodate a couple, with the option of an additional fold-away bed upon request.

Humpty Doo Retreat

Escape the bustle of the city and stay in our Humpty Doo home. Bring the whole family and take a dip in the massive swimming pool (which is warmed to the perfect temperature of 27 degrees). Enjoy the chirping of birds in the morning and the peace and quiet that rural Darwin brings you. If you want to head into Palmerston city it's a cruisey 20 minutes drive, or into Darwin city is just 35 minutes.

Tropical oasis - private, suburban accommodation

Fully self-contained and air-conditioned, one bedroom apartment in a duplex style arrangement (one neighbouring unit). Queen-size bed in bedroom and two pull-out/fold out sofas in the lounge room. Off-street parking, courtyard and private spa in a tropical setting. External secure undercover area which suits small pets. Very flexible with check-in and check-out times.
