Our off-grid Shepherd's Hut offers a peaceful retreat on the edge of a working farm. Set on the banks of Loch Patrick in SW Scotland, our shepherds hut sleeps two, has a wood burning stove and beautiful views. Our eco-friendly hut offers an opportunity to completely switch off and enjoy a slower pace of life. Enjoy watching the sunrise from the decking, star gazing at the fire pit or while away the days watching the wildlife, you will not be disappointed by the tranquillity of our location.

Located on the idyllic Solway estuary, metres from the water's edge, surrounded by the renowned RSPB Campfield Marsh. By a unique wetland of raised peat bogs, marshes and ponds, A haven for a huge variety of bird life, shoreline waders to geese to owls and woodpeckers. Located amid Low Abbey's woodland, rich with narcissi and bluebells in the spring, adjacent to the old damson orchard, at the end of Hadrian's Wall. A truly luxurious shepherd's hut with all amenities for a great stay.

Our charming shepherd's huts sit in the old orchard of our farm in the village of Bowness on Solway, Cumbria. The site is named 'The Garrison' as it sits on the remains of the former Roman fort of Maia, a world heritage site at the end of Hadrian's Wall. Bowness itself is in an area of outstanding natural beauty sitting on the Solway Estuary which separates England from South West Scotland. We are 40 minutes from the Lake District and 20 minutes from the historic city of Carlisle.

Charming handy for Lake District

Archie is a charming bespoke shepherd’s hut, set in its own garden space at the top of our shared garden area. Archie offers a nostalgic space for unwinding, there’s only Archie - no other pods or huts near you. Facing southwest there are lovely views. Archie has a double bed, en-suite shower room and toilet, kitchen area with hob,microwave, fridge, fold out dining table and underfloor heating to keep it cosy. Additionally outside there’s a kitchen area, bbq , firepit & seating.

Bespoke ‘off grid’ Shepherds huts located in idyllic surroundings on the banks of unspoilt Loch Ken, SW Scotland Enjoy the simple pleasures of slow living in our eco-friendly huts, watch the sunset over the loch from the deck or outdoor fire pit at the edge of the loch. A romantic getaway or rural escape, in a beautiful secluded spot where you can star gaze under our dark sky. Private bathroom.

Skiddaw View

Skidded View Camping Pod Comes with a king size bed that can also be used as two singles. It also has a sink with running hot and cold water and numerous electrical points. Heaters provided. Kettle, toaster, microwave and small fridge freezer also provided for your convenience. Toilet and shower block located only ten metres away from the pods. Parking outside each pod. Fire pits included. Well behaved dogs welcome but not to be left in the pod unsupervised.

Little Beach - our hut in the middle is a spacious luxury shepherds hut with full self catering facilities with an open plan layout. Little Beach boasts uninterrupted sea views out over the Isle of Man. The separate bedroom has a king size bed and views up onto the hill. With an enclosed veranda with comfy seating at the front, you can enjoy sunrises and sunsets every day of your stay.
