This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. This recently renovated stone cottage is cosy and inviting especially with the sun shining on the patio or the stove lit inside. The exposed stone walls, limestone hearth and deep blue painted walls are just some of the features of this beautiful cottage. Across the courtyard is Bartholomew's Loft (go to Airbnb Bartholomewsloft), an upside down space, another fabulous place to stay in the heart of The Boyne Valley.

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. In the "Hearth" of everywhere but in the middle of nowhere. Iris Cottage is just an hour from Dublin and 15 mins from kells with holistic treatments available such as reflexology, massages or even try a seaweed bath to help you unwind. If its sightseeing then we have Loughcrew Cairns and Fore abbey on our doorstep. But if its fishing your interested in then check out Lough Lene and Lough Bane, or one of the many other lakes around us.

Magical gothic 3 bedroom mini-castle.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
