Millaa's getaway

Our comfortable, little, self contained flat is in the heart of Millaa Millaa. It's only walking distance to town , Millaa waterfall and Millaa’s golf club .It is quiet and surrounded by fruit trees and native animals. Only 10 minutes drive and you can enjoy a nice meal from the Teahouse , Pub or Mungalli creek Cafe and on your way home enjoy the beautiful waterfall circuit. We live upstairs and are happy to tell where the best hiking , swimming and sightseeing spots are in the tablelands.

Modern Beach Shack | Escape for Two W/ Pool

Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

The Lake House

Wake to sunrise over the lake in this secluded tropical retreat. Beautifully designed modern Balinese-inspired house with marble tiled flooring throughout, carved wooden doors and volcanic rock walls, a unique tropical oasis in a truly unique setting. Property has direct access to many deserted roads to old gold mines and deserted Towalla township, access can be arranged.

Bungalow on the creek bank

A quiet, recently renovated 2 1/2 bedroom country retreat with easy access to our swimming hole, creek and walking tracks. There is plenty of room for cars, boats and a convenient fish cleaning table. Our fully equipped kitchen and outdoor barbecue plus a nearby fire pit provides you with all you need to enjoy those balmy nights. Located approximately 10 minutes drive from the boat ramp or boat hire in the pretty seaside town of Cardwell.

FNQ Blooms Tropical Flower Farm Lodge

Our Tropical Flower Farm is a 52-acre property situated at the foothills of Mt Bartle about one hour drive south of the Cairns International Airport. We grow an extensive variety of tropical Heliconia and Ginger for use in the Australian Cut Flower market. Our farm is completely self-sustainable. We have a waterfall that generates our power through Hydroelectricity and gravity-fed water from a natural spring.
