Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Situated in Conondale, around 13 kilometres North-West of the Maleny Township, Down at The Dale is a private, luxury-farm escape for couples. The cabins look out over the Conondale ranges towards Kenilworth. Serene sunsets, starlit skies, and a warm outdoor fire for toasting marshmallows and cosy nights, make this scenic romantic getaway the perfect country escape. The Retreat Cabin is the perfect place to sit back, sip some wine and admire the beauty of the Hinterland landscape.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Our cabin is nicely positioned to allow access to many scenic day trips taking in places such as Maleny, Montville, several National Parks & The Glasshouse Mountains. We have put together some suggested itineraries to help you make the most of your time with us and includes trips to waterfalls, short and long bush walks and restaurants. Or of course you are welcome to cook your own pizzas in our pizza oven under the stars or light a campfire.

Kookaburra Cottage - Unplug and Unwind

The cottage is a modern 2 bedroom cabin with all the modern amenities including a well equiped kitchen, 2 large bedrooms with luxury bedding, modern bathroom, comfortable lounge room with AC. Outside is a large wrap around deck with direct access from both bedrooms, large table for entertaining, BBQ and a bar table which is the perfect position to sit with a morning coffee. There is also a large fire pit that you are free to use and cook on.
