Hiking with Goats
A guided hike through beautiful lake and mountain scenery, hosted by Pickles and Peanut, French Alpine goat brothers! Their "parents" come too, to ensure you are guided on the less-busy but still human-accessible trails. On the two hour adventure we will: - Meet at Grafton Lake parking area next to Grafton Road. - Start with 10 minutes of intros and "Goat 101" to learn how to safely interact with Peanut and Pickles. - Walk around the lake. - Stop at viewpoints along the way, where we'll offer to take photos of you with the goats. - End back where we started. Private hike options include: - Customized trail route such as up to the lookout in our main photo, or to cool natural tree forts! - Special arrangements for a longer, more challenging hike to the summit of the iconic Mount Gardner. A few considerations: Families as well as dogs on leashes are welcome, but please note that Peanut and Pickles are still growing and learning, and their headbutt play behaviour may intimidate children and dogs. You are welcome to request dates, but these will be considered "private hikes". This adventure is "rain or shine"! The boys look adorable in their rain coats, so (pending a major storm) we'll enjoy whatever mother nature brings our way. Finally, the boys love to meet people, and they can't wait to show you their beautiful backyard!

Chinese Steamed Bun Masterclass
Join us for Steamed Bun Masterclass hosted by Sophia in downtown Vancouver’s Olympic village neighbourhood. The workshop will take place in Sophia’s studio kitchen. During this class, we’ll learn how to make traditional Chinese steamed buns. We will work together to make the dough, roll the wrappers, and make the fillings from scratch. You'll learn how to steam the buns with a traditional bamboo steamer or pan-fry them for crispy buns! Most of my techniques are learnt and passed down from my family in China and Taiwan. In Taipei, I apprenticed at “Zhu Ji 朱記” a restaurant known for Northern-style pastries, noodles, pancakes, and dumplings. Steamed buns are a perfect example of humble ingredients that are transformed into delicious morsels with effort and time. Food is a love language in Asia and seriously, the best vehicle to bring people together.  You’ll learn about which flours to use, how to “read” the dough, and work with different wrapping methods (rabbit-shaped buns!). We'll wrap the workshop with a meal where you’ll be able to enjoy the buns of your labour — served with a housemade garlic dipping sauce. ON THE MENU Complimentary Snacks Pork &Tomato Steamed Buns Pickled Garlic Dipping Sauce Dessert - Seasonal Fruit Speciality Chinese/Asian teas, water *The address will be sent to you after check-out. * Vegetarian options are available, please message in advance.
Explore the Lost Souls of Gastown
Immerse yourself in the chilling dramas of historic Gastown as you venture into Vancouver's earliest and most gruesome history on this 90-minute walking tour. Follow the lamplight of your guide as you discover the terror of a Great Fire that ate up Gastown in minutes, the long forgotten plague of smallpox, and the unsolved murder of John Bray. Designed for adult audiences, the experience is both a walking tour and a theatre piece. Your guide is a professional actor, performing in character throughout. Every story is grounded in documented Vancouver history, taken from the city archives. The plot line is woven together as the tragic tale of one person's life, ending in a dramatic finale in Gastown's Maple Tree Square. Every one of Gastown's must-see sites and landmarks is visited on the walk, the oldest hotel, the Gastown Steam Clock, you’ll see how Vancouver looked before and after the Great Fire, explore notorious Gaoler's Mews, and walk down the back alleys of Water Street to famous Maple Tree Square. Do not expect a ghost tour or conventional walking tour – this is a performance experience that will pull you so deep into the swirling lamplight and darkened alleys of Gastown’s murky past, you may have a hard time finding your way back out…

Sailing Experience on a 50' Luxury Yacht
We have upgraded our platform to a beautiful 2011 50 foot Jeanneau Sailboat that is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. We depart Mosquito Creek and motor out of Vancouver Harbour into Burrard Inlet. You will see Coal Harbour, Stanley Park and unique views of downtown from the water. Once we pass under the Lions Gate Bridge we'll set sail and enjoy stunning views of the Vancouver area, Passage and Bowen Islands, Point Atkinson, West Vancouver, Howe Sound and even Georgia Straight. Sit back and relax whilst we serve up a light snack and a selection of Beers, Ciders and assortment of alcoholic beverages as you enjoy the views of English Bay. We have water and pop available for the minors, tea and coffee as well. If you're the more adventurous type, we can put you to work and teach you the basics of how to sail, trimming the sails and even take the helm. After 2.5 hours on the water pack up the sails and motor back to Mosquito Creek and the picturesque views of Coal Harbour. We offer all kinds of other experiences if your looking for something overnight, something more private or don't see a date that works for your group. Please reach out and well do our best to create a unique and once in a lifetime experience! We do not have a min # of guest required to run the experience and have a covered cockpit should we see showers. We only cancel due to unsafe conditions.
