Toronto is known for having two Chinatowns. The biggest one runs along Spadina avenue and is a good place to pick up different produce or to try some dumplings. Dumpling House is good.

Established in 1878, Chinatown is one of Toronto’s oldest and most dynamic neighbourhoods. You’ll find bustling produce markets that spill out onto the street, numerous shops and food stalls, neon signs and a plethora of cuisines (not only Chinese— here’s a strong Vietnamese contingent too, for example).

Energetic Chinatown hosts a variety of Asian restaurants. Open-air markets and shops along Spadina Avenue offer fresh fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs.
