The Loft is a barndominium-style guesthouse - a stylish, cozy, spacious, home away from home. Perfect for small groups or for those traveling alone. The loft is located in a quiet country setting near Lake Chickamauga. Perfect for a small-town getaway, visiting friends and family, fishing, visiting Bryan College, or working out of town. Only minutes from quaint downtown Dayton where you can enjoy antique and boutique shopping, restaurants, parks, walking tracks, and nearby hiking trails.

The Loft is a spacious, 1200-sq ft, barndominium-style guesthouse built in 2024. It is located behind our home and has a private entrance with plenty of parking for your vehicles or boats. The farmhouse decor and open concept will make you feel right at home. You can relax on the reclining sofa and loveseat while watching the 58-in smart TV, get some work done in the dedicated workspace, or get out and enjoy our beautiful small town. You will find a list of things to do, restaurants to try, and check-out instructions on the snack table. We are a short drive from key locations as below.

-Dayton Boat Dock: 8 minutes
-Bryan College: 8 minutes
-Historic Downtown Dayton: 10 minutes
-Spring City Boat Dock: 19 minutes
-Dollar General: 4 minutes
-Food City: 11 minutes
-Walmart: 16 minutes
-Pocket Wilderness: 12 minutes
-Downtown Chattanooga: 45 minutes

What you will find at The Loft:
-Living room with 58-inch smart TV with reclining sofa and loveseat.

-Two bedrooms including one queen bed, one full bed. Full-length mirrors and luggage racks are provided in each bedroom, along with extra sheets and blankets. An iron and ironing board can be found in the closet.

-Fully functioning kitchen with stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Dishes and silverware are provided (including some plastic dishes and cups). Basic cookware and utensils are provided, along with some basic supplies and spices for cooking. A variety of K-Cups are provided on the coffee bar, and you’ll find a basic supply of snacks and bottled water to welcome you as well.

-One bathroom with a tiled stand-up shower. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, towels, and blow dryer are provided, along with a basic supply of toilet paper.

-Washer and dryer are available for your use in the guesthouse. A basic supply of detergent and dyer sheets are provided.

-There is plenty of parking in front of the building with ample parking for boats if needed, along with the ability to charge your boat.

-Please note, there is a flight of stairs to reach the guesthouse. Guests have access to the foyer leading to the guesthouse, but do not have access to the attached garage or the rest of the building downstairs.
