Important notes:
★ This is a shared-house, you will be getting a private bedroom with a private bathroom. The bedroom is on the ground floor of the house so you will have a lot of privacy. My self ( the host) live in this house (2nd floor) and other long term tenants live in the 3rd floor.
★ You have a clean bathroom and toilet on the same floor (yours private, not shared). The kitchen is on the first floor of the house and is NOT included in the Airbnb rental but will be available for you if you stay for more than 10 days.
★ The house is in Wemmel, not in Brussels.

I believe in the concept of house-sharing and I have done it for the past years hundreds of times, as a guest and as a host. I have almost 130 reviews which are all very positive so I am experienced in hosting people. I like to live comfortably so I invest in quality materials and furnitures.

The modern house in Wemmel has 4 floors with 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. The large living room with a view on the Sint Servaas Church is open to the hyper equipped kitchen with access to the sunny balcony so there is sun in the morning and the whole afternoon.
The 100 square meter garden is situated south west, has a pond for fish and contains a garden house which soon will be converted into an office for work from home enthusiasts.

Bus stops 2 minutes away from the house. Free parking in the area.

Hoi allemaal! Hello everyone!

My name is Alex and I am a medical doctor in Amsterdam working at the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery department. I have previously obtained a PhD degree on the physiology of blood vessels, focussing on diseases such as diabetes and obesity.

I do Airbnb probably at its most original way, really receiving people in my home! I keep in touch with many of previous guests and I am proud to have had so many wonderful people in my life through this platform. I have been living in the Netherlands for more than 13 years, the last five of them were in this beautiful city of Amsterdam. I want to make sure you have an amazing time in this great city and I look forward to welcoming you and give you as many tips as possible so you can experience the real Amsterdam. I am genuinely interested in meeting new people from all over the world as I've done it while traveling and now hopefully through hosting travellers.

I play the violin in my free time and I studied the instrument at the conservatory of Tilburg. I love hiking in the mountains and make sure to do that every year with my good friends. I am also an avid salsa, zouk and tango dancer .. so dance enthusiasts are very welcomed to stay over :)

I am very clean and I will respect your place like my own. I hope you will do the same with my home.

It is quite often that I have to do weekend and night shifts at the hospital so you will have the apartment for yourself. I hope you enjoy your stay at my place.
