Customers can participate in sushi classes at an extra charge.

We can provide the following services to customers.
1 We are offering customers a lending service of pocket w-ifi for going out at an extra charge. 　＊You can use free wi-fi at home.
2 We are providing bicycle rental service to customers at an extra charge.
3 We do laundry service free of charge. (Please bring detergent)

Room

Free Wi-fi.
The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 DK. The DK is about 8 square meters wide. And have fridge.
The house has only 1 bathroom, toilet and DK room which you are going to share with another customer.
But, we will provide a private 1 bed room to customers. The size of the room is about 11 square meters. This bed room can accommodate 3 people maximum. The bedroom includes three single size bed, so it's possible for three adults costumers to occupy the room, however they might feel the room smaller a little bit. This room accomodation includes futon and a desk chair and we can also provide WIFI internet connection.
There is an air conditioner in the room. But the bedroom is also cool and comfortable by summer.
The bedroom can be locked.
When you arrive, you can go directly to your room. We guarantee that all our rooms are clean, comfortable and well- ventilated.

Location
Our house is located at the top of the hill near Yokosuka chuou stations.
It takes approximately 15 minutes on foot through the straight mountain road to get to the house.There are pictures posted on the site. And there are also more than 50 steps of gentle stairs from the station to the house. There is no driveway or way to get there by vehicle.
Since the house is located at the top of hill, it’s an uphill climb from the station.
It's also possible to walk to a shopping mall and the U.S. military base in 20 minutes from the house. A supermarket is also attached to this shopping mall, so buying food is also simple should you want.

We're suggesting that a customer stays more than one month with us so that the customer got to enjoy Yokosuka.

About Yokosuka!

Since Yokosuka has a US Military Base, there is a mixed Japanese and American culture which makes the city very unique. There is Dobuitatoori Street (American Pub Street) near the house where you can use US dollars. Yokosuka City Center is just a short walk away, about 15 minutes. You can enjoy nature-filled activities, such as hiking, fishing, and swimming, in this charming town where the mountains meet the sea. Fishing is a proud tradition in Yokosuka. It's so popular to eat freshly caught fish, shrimps, clamps and oyster turned into sumptuous dishes like grilled or raw fish. On weekends, local fishermen run an open-air restaurant of Hamayaki (fisherman-style BBQ) at the fishing port. A wide variety of fish can be eaten at very reasonable prices. An event to celebrate the cultural significance of fish is held once a month at the fish market. With the mere 300 yen entrance fee, you can buy the equivalent of 2500 yen's worth of fresh fish. Many tourists from different prefectures around Japan visit this place because of these attractions. We're suggesting that a customer stays more than two nights with us so that the customer got to enjoy Yokosuka. We provide tourist information as much as possible but please inform us beforehand so that we can schedule the appointment.

Welcome to visit Yokosuka!!
Since We had lived Yokosuka for 6 years, We love Yokosuka and willing to share our experience with you.

Thank you for coming my page. I'm Kitty. I love meeting new people and I am very much interested in foreign culture(especially food culture!!). My hobbies are cooking, listening to music ,and traveling in foreign countries. In particular, I love listening to a-ha, a Norwegian rock band. I am their fan for long time. I'd like to go to their concert at Norway next year!
I have been worked as a restaurant coordinator for many years . Since I love cooking, I managed to get my cooking license and sushi decorating license as well. I am very willing to teach customers the art of Japanese cuisine and sushi decoration. I can speak Japanese and a little English while my husband can speak English and Spanish. (We had accept many foreign travelers from different countries,, and learned different culture from them. If you want to do it, We may give you some local tour guide that enrich your stay in Yokosuka.)

Stay in a resident home, you and myself get better chance to know each others culture. May be you come to our home as strangers but leave as friends?!?
