Enjoy the world renowned Mauna Kea Resort from Estate 421, a spacious four bedroom private residence with a heated pool, spa and unobstructed ocean views. Built as the developers model home, the home is perched over the 13th hole of the Hapuna golf course and is the largest of the homes constructed in the Wai'ula'ula community with 3,794 square feet of indoor living space and a 500 square foot covered outdoor deck with direct ocean views. The main home offers three spacious bedrooms including two ocean-facing master suites and a deluxe kids room with various sleeping options. There is also a private Ohana (guest) house with a large master suite, king bed, queen sofa sleeper, private bathroom and kitchenette. Curated with large groups and families in mind, Residence 421 has a sleep capacity of 12 and also offers a heated pool and work space to accommodate all travelers. A large private lanai around the pool deck allows for plenty of lounging space for the whole family, and wall-length glass sliding doors allow you to combine the indoors with the outdoors. Enjoy sunset BBQs by your private pool, or drive a short distance to the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and watch the sunset from Hawaii's most beautiful beach.

Estate 421 has a large living room and kitchen with designer decor and vaulted ceilings for added space and comfort. The home offers multiple work spaces that are perfect for groups working or schooling remotely. Three large master bedrooms connect to the main living area, two offering a king size beds and another offering two queen beds. All bedrooms have large private bathrooms. A small courtyard connects the main home to a separate Ohana house, which offers a king bed and queen sofa sleeper. The home offers a sleep capacity of 12.

Amenities in this non-smoking unit include central air conditioning, ceiling fans for natural ventilation, spacious covered lanai, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer with detergent provided, WIFI at no charge, iron and ironing board and hair dryer.

Wai'ula'ula is located on the "mauka" or mountain-side slopes of the Mauna Kea Resort at the Uplands development, accessed through the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel entrance. This gated community is surrounded by the fairways of the Hapuna golf course and boasts panoramic ocean and mountain views.

All guests who stay at Wai'ula'ula will have access to use the communal pool & hot tub and fitness room.

Guests of Waiulaula Estate 421 may purchase daily resort access to enjoy all facilities and amenities at both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna Resorts. Access must be purchased for the entire duration of your stay and covers all registered guests in the unit. Please note: This privilege is offered directly by Mauna Kea Resort, and South Kohala Management is not responsible for any changes to resort services or amenities. Rates are as follows:
2026: $300 per day (Base Rate) | $450 per day (Peak Rate). Peak rates apply from March 21-April 11, November 21-27, and December 19-January 2, 2027.
2027: Rates have not yet been determined and are subject to change.

Our resort office is located at the Mauna Lani Terrace and is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm. We are available for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency.

A car rental is HIGHLY recommended, public transportation & taxi service is limited.
