I am a designer who works professionally in the design industry, so the place is filled with modern furniture, objects and prints from my friends. I love plants and have plenty of light, so expect to see a plant in every room with a window.
Typical Brooklyn brownstone. The building was built in the early 20th century and has lots of character from the ceiling to the floors with curious add on's over the years by previous owners. One of the reasons why I love it.

Your Bedroom:
The bedroom consists of one full size bed that easily accommodates your sleeping needs. Its foam and conforms to you body. Under the bed I have some storage for clothes as well as space in the closet for clothes and your suitcase. There are 2 large windows on one wall, feel free to hop outside or open the window to let the breeze in. The bedroom has chair and a small desk to work at. In the summer, the room has its own AC, so you will have a lot of control over how hot or cool your room is and there's clean towels and extra sheets folded in the closet on the shelf.

The Bathroom:
The bathroom in this apartment is a mix of various tiles, white and black and marble, a nice big shower head which creates the difference between actually enjoying a shower rather than just taking one. A medicine cabinet with a mirror, behind which you can store your toiletries. There's also plenty of shelf space for your things, towel racks on the wall and a hook on the door. and don't worry about soap or shampoo, I'll supply that for you too.

The Kitchen:
While you are guest in this apartment, you will have full access to the kitchen. The owner cooks regularly, so you might even get a home cooked meal, or dessert, or a jar of jam or pickles. The kitchen isn't huge, but includes plenty of the necessary amenities: full stove, espresso maker. You will have full access to everything.

The Living/Dining Room:
This apartment has a very open floor plan. The kitchen, dining room, and living room all flow into one another.

Third Wheels
This bedroom is most suitable for 1 person. Its exactly 100 square feet, lots of space in the common areas etc.

Neighborhood is great. And close to the subways, citibike ports everywhere. Brooklyn Museum, the Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park is about a 15 minute walk up Washington Avenue.

I'm an artist living in Brooklyn and I love to travel to far and distant places to explore, see exhibits and check out the local vibe. I really like trying new foods and am always interested in meeting new people with different backgrounds. I love a good story for sure! I've been all over western and eastern Europe, England (and not just London) Ireland, Mexico, Canada (it's not like the U.S. at all) Bangladesh, India, UAE , and also every state in the U.S. except Alaska. By far, my favorite has been Bangladesh.

I'm like all the regulars: film, reading (lately its just been the papers though) but the last book I read was Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon. Tv off of my ipad, theater, art exhibits, coffee bars, cocktails, well designed objects, furniture, architecture, etc. At least, I'm hoping these are the regulars.

I'm really laid back and flexible. If I'm in your city, don't expect me to be at your place during the day, most likely I'll be out and about exploring. I travel light, just a small bag. I'm a morning person so usually hit the hay early as I tend to wake up early. Always looking to make new connections and friends.
