Our Homestay is a simple and basic home where we try to give all the love in the world to our dogs. If you are coming to our home and if you are interested we have so many many many stories about our dogs and other dogs.
For the last 6 years we have rehomed more thn 30 giant breed of dogs like Saint Bernard, Dane , Alabai and German shepherd dogs. We try to help the dogs finding new homes where owners know better about such giant breeds.
We have three dogs at the property who have my heart 💓

Ours is a Homestay in a non touristy area and it's a quite space for those who are interested in social work and work with village youth. We love dogs and welcome all the real dog lovers.

We offer 4 bedrooms so if you do not find one room available still you can get in touch with me and I would do my best to accommodate you 🙏

Our place is for socially responsible Travellers and for dog lovers , we love to share our work with village kids if you wish we will be happy to do a rural tour for you for an extra cost.

1-We are Located in a peaceful non-touristy neighborhood, we provides guests with a unique opportunity to experience real Indian life and culture. This is not your average impersonal, commercial hotel in the middle of touristy area. This is a homestay into which you will be warmly welcomed and given personal attention to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.

2-We welcome those guests with an interest in exploring the local community and a desire to escape the hassles and touts that plague touristy areas. Part of the revenue generated from the home stay is invested in a grassroots non-profit organization, providing education to rural youth. During your stay you are most welcome to take part in our excursions and visit some of our village center for youth education and other humanitarian projects run, managed and funded by DAAN foundation.

3-In all our rooms you will find wall-hangings and bed covers made by local village artists. We have many other local arts and crafts on display in the communal area, which guests may purchase if they wish.

4-All rooms have high speed internet and have WiFi. We also have some spare laptops which guests can use.
5-Each room has en-suite bathroom with western toilet and a running hot shower available 24 hours a day. We provide clean towels and new bed sheets on every new arrival, we would happily change then as and when requested. From the top roof you can enjoy panoramic views of Aravali Hills and can enjoy the view of the country side.

6-All the rooms are made keeping in mind the freedom of the guest so that they have enough space to chill and be on their own and at the same time be close to the hosts and cherish the Indian hospitality. Each room has a separate entrance which gives the guests freedom to come and go as they please. All the rooms are well ventilated, so guests get fresh air always.

7-In addition to our simple but charming heritage rooms, it has two spacious terraces from which panoramic views of verdant Aravali Hills can be taken in. A serene place to enjoy the sunrise, morning song of the birds to enjoy. In addition to this you can always enjoy a Yoga lesson on the roof.

8-Breakfast is served in a lovely dining area where free internet access and WiFi is available. You may also eat on the roof-top, overlooking the organic vegetable garden and home-cooked lunches and dinners are available upon request. While staying with us you would have an opportunity to taste the Indian and Rajasthani Thali (A traditional Indian cuisine including various Indian delicacies). We serve a wide range of drinks and serve one the best coffees you can get in the town. Breakfast and other food and drinks items are NOT included in the room tariff.

9-We also have a small library which has a wide selection of books. Some of the past volunteers and travelers have contributed to this. It includes books on development issues, travel books, novels, books on spirituality, Buddhism and DVDs.

10-We have a small organic garden which is used to grow fresh vegetables and fruits for our healthy meal program and our guests. The guests are most welcome to spend time gardening.

Location – neighborhood description

Our home is located in a premium locality, an area where people are not thinking about cheating you or making small money from you. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood in the new city, away from the touristy confusion and stress and yet just a small drive (4 km) to all the major city attractions where our most reliable drivers would be happy to take you.
A big terrace, comfortable personal spaces, home-cooked meals, a small library, full wi-fi connectivity ‚all these details make our home an ideal place to live while you are in Udaipur. It is also suitable for guests on long business stays and for socially responsible travelers who wish to Participate in humanitarian projects.
Our home is also located close to the biggest multiplex in town where the guests can go and satisfy their wish to watch a Bollywood movie (sometimes with English subtitles) and enjoy the food from international chains like Subway, McDonalds, Pizza hut and so many more.

Volunteering and Excursions
We provide volunteering opportunities at DAAN foundation village youth education centre and other humanitarian projects. Our projects are located in villages around Udaipur.
For those of you who are interested in exploring rural India we welcome you to take part in one of our many excursions where you would be visiting old ruins of Temples (some of them as old as 2200Yrs old). For more information on different excursions feel free to ask your host.
Meals
We take care of our guests like our own family and always make sure they get the most delicious and healthy food. We pay extreme care to hygiene and cleanliness and make the dishes according to the guest’s taste. Our chef prepares delicious home-cooked vegetarian food, which includes a number of western, Indian and Rajasthani (local village dishes) food options.

Namaste, My name is Samvit (Also known by some as Sam or Dr, Audichya) and I will be your humble host who would do anything to ensure your stay with us is pleasant. I am happy to invite you with a smile and welcome you to come and explore our city and villages. If you are interested, I would be happy to take you to some of our humanitarian projects and also projects based on youth education. I have been working in the development and hospitality sectors for seven years and our home combines both the elements.
Our ancestors were the high priests and Guru to the Royal family of Jaipur. Ours is a family of scholars who have spent their whole life in the educational field. My Grandfather was the Vice Chancellor in Jodhpur University and my Father Dr. Sudhir Audichya retired as the Joint director for higher college education and is currently helping me with our NGO based around education. Both my mother and sister have spent years of their life working for female rights. Even now my mother is helping the women in the area by giving them guidance and helping them with their financial needs.
If you ask me I do not really believe in cast, color, religion or racial discrimination but I do believe in the beauty which exists in all the differences and numerous shapes , infinite colors of cultural variation which you can feel everywhere in India. Our whole approach is to empower and educate the youth to be able to acknowledge, accept and appreciate life with all the differences.

Hi , i have been working for development sector and have been living in Udaipur for the last 13yrs and love it totally. I host here on behave of my Mother.
After completing my Ph.D. from Pune University i decided to settle here as i loved the rural side of Udaipur.
I am totally in love with the mountains, lakes and more so ever with the beautiful people of villages.
I have also been working with rural youth education and am the founder director of a grass root NGO.
We have projects related with youth education, women empowerment and organic farming. We work hard and self fund our small NGO with our other businesses i.e. our homestay and our travel company. I have now been hosting national and international guests for the last 13 years and i would love to share with you our work, villages, cultural and spiritual aspects of our wonderful country .
Would be a complete pleasure to host you and offer you some of our rural tours where you would be meeting some of our staff members.
You can also meet our lovely kids who come and spend time at our youth centers.
