This very large master bedroom has its own full private bathroom, and windows with views of the surrounding fields and woods. You will have use of shared kitchen, laundry, dining room, living room, and of course the yard and grounds!

I recently bought the adjacent 4 acre field, and put it into conservation status. A neighbor hays the field, and you are free to walk on my trails! you'll often see deer, turkeys and other wildlife from your bedroom windows.

This house has been in my family since 1997. After I was widowed in 2011, I started hosting students, and then Airbnb guests. Now I have 3 areas of the house available through Airbnb: the original downstairs private suite (no access to shared areas), the west upstairs bedrooms, and the east upstairs suite.

The shared areas include front entry, halls and stairs, living rooms (piano, games, sofas, small tv, computer and printer for guest use), dining room (large cherry table which comfortably seats 8), kitchen (granite countertops, gas stove and oven, small microwave, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, full cooking utensils and dining settings), laundry (Maytag washer, Elextrolux dryer, ironing board and iron, table for folding laundry), and a small bathroom by the kitchen.

My neighborhood has quiet streets for walking, with many folks doing "the 2 mile loop" over past the Garrison Grade school and down Back River Road to Spruce Lane.

For people who like fields and woods, the trail through my field leads to an old town road (unused), then to fields. Also there are trails for hiking in the Bellamy Wildlife Management Area, just south of my house.

I am an active, recently-remarried older woman, raised in Oregon and Vermont, but have been in New Hampshire near many of my relatives since 1985. Previous careers include Spanish teacher and radiation safety technician. I still work part-time at a radiation safety company, calibrating radiation detection instrumentation for universities, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, etc. I have been an Airbnb host since 2012.

I inherited this large country home in 2003 with my husband; he passed away in 2011. In July of 2016 I married Peter Mason, a friend from my UU church, who is an interesting and caring partner in my home-based endeavors Family and friends are very important to us and this house is often the meeting place -- we love having company! As a country-lover I am glad my house is adjacent to the Bellamy Wildlife Management Area, a 400+ acre area where we walk the many trails, go X-country skiing and snowshoeing. We go to Portsmouth for the plays, concerts, parks, good restaurants, nightlife and interesting art galleries (only 10 miles away) and walk the beaches with friends often (the ocean is 12 miles away). I am a birder (well, I try; mostly I bird by ear) and find great birding both here on the coast as well as in the White Mountains, only 60 miles away to the NW. I have always loved to garden, and have planted fruit trees and berry bushes for less-intensive bounty! The perennial flowerbeds which were my mother-in-law's give me great joy, though I do struggle with the upkeep! I enjoy sharing my space with interesting people!
