You are on the edge of the forest looking out onto majestic white gum trees 200 years old.
Kookaburras, king parrots, blue finches fly by and kangaroos eat from the veggie patch.

Owner apartment is next door but you have a completely separate entrance and don't share a wall.

The cottage sits on the edge of the Lerdederg bush walking trails yet you're only a 5 minute walk to the local cafe's and the fabulous Blackwood Hotel.

Queen bed, kitchen with electric 4 burner stove top, convention oven, microwave, fridge, study nook, bathroom with shower, lounge & breakfast bar.
This is a clean and cosy cottage but don't expect it to be a new renovation.
WIFI is Starlink.
Blackwood cottage is stand alone with private entrance and shares the property with owners residence next door. There are some common outside areas but we rarely bump into one another and if we do it's always a friendly warm chat - I have so many tips for you to explore the area.
Tea and coffee & long life milk provided.
There are forest views from every window.
No neighbours 180 degrees just forest and walking tracks.
There is a walking track in front of the cottage that leads to the mineral springs where fresh mineral water and a free bbq area (only 10 minutes walk.)

You can park in the driveway in front of the screen as seen in photos.

Blackwood is part of the Macedon area and Gold field area - it's a great point to explore all the little towns around. It is a wine and slow food region and great in winter and summer with hot spas and crackling fire places nearby.
I recommend the Post Office cafe for coffee and cake made by a local baker. There is lunch and great breakfast on the weekend.
The Blackwood Hotel has great pub meals be sure to book for the weekends as it's very popular.
The Garden of St Erth diggers club and cafe are also worth visiting.
Only 10 minutes drive away is Trentham with galleries, eateries and pubs with music and entertainment.
Daylesford the spa and massage centre of Victoria is only 25 minutes drive away.
