Quiet bungalow in heart of the Welland Valley in one of its most loved villages. Bags of fab enclosed outside space; a Post Office and village shop, a 2 minute walk along the river to the Nevill Arms and local cafe serving fantastic breakfasts and lunches. Farm shop one mile.

Renowned walking/cycling area; Foxton Locks, Rutland Water, Rockingham Castle are just some of our "go to" places. We are between two beautiful market towns, Market Harborough and Uppingham

Medbourne is a chocolate box village - think Midsummer Murders but without the murders - The bungalow is a bit of a tardis, huge garden, huge living/dinning room, differently abled friendly. We will do our very best to make your stay as great as we can. Housekeeper and gardener once a week. One double bedroom and one single. We're not really set up for toddlers but welcome older offspring!

The Welland Valley is beautiful and Medbourne is jewel in its crown. We have everything on our doorstep from bustling market towns with unique shops and restaurants/bars to great value pubs and cafes. Magnificent countryside and favourite for walkers and biking enthusiasts.

I also live in Medbourne, just around the corner, working on media stuff at home and as a Lead Project Manager putting together teams delivering events geared at improving the life chances of young people in the world of STEM.

Medbourne is a very special places as we hope you find out. Favourite other places for me - Tortola, or any where by the sea.

The bungalow is very special to us -it is bright and airy and has a huge garden - the whole place has a great feel. We love it!

We can't bare to let it go so decided to let other people enjoy it. We have a few draws, cupboards with our things in for when we stay but they are clearly marked on the photos or will be explained on arrival. We have glasses and plates/ornaments in a small display cabinet ( It was Great Uncle Jim's, of course!) and we ask kindly that you do not use those.

The bungalow is differently abled friendly, let us know if you have any special needs and we will let you know if we can assist. Everything is on one level with no steps apart from one step out into garden, with grab rail.
