The Little Flower estate is a garden nestled in the woods of south Coorg. The stay consists of twin rooms & a common verandah. We can accommodate up to six guests. However, the stay will only be given out to one party exclusively at any given time. The verandah provides glorious views of the estate all the way till the paddy fields and the river. The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, pantry, a laundry machine & WiFi. The outdoor dining experience, bonfire with barbecue will linger on.

The Little Flower estate is a quaint estate garden perfect for a laid back weekend or week days too where one might want to ‘work from home’ . In a nutshell it’s country roads, gorgeous sunsets , great food and beautiful night skies.


The bedrooms can comfortably accommodate two guests in each and a third with a floor mattress. Both rooms have attached bathrooms.

There are two bedrooms. If you are booked as two guests, yours will be one bedroom and the common verandah. The second room will remain locked. However if you are two guests who want to use both bedrooms, then you may do so by paying an extra INR 500. Then you may use both bedrooms. However, you have to let me know in advance if you want to use both rooms, so we can keep them tidy and ready when you get here.

Pets are allowed for an extra fee of INR 400/- per day per pet.

We welcome pets as long as they are potty trained and have their own sleep arrangements. Pets are not allowed on the beds and sofas. Kindly adhere to these rules. I am trying to keep the spaces clean and hygienic but this is possible only when guests are co-operative.

The common verandah is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee while gazing at the estate and the views that extend till the paddy fields and continues till the Lakshman Theetha river.

There are plenty of books if you are in the mood to read.

If you have to work, then you may connect to the WiFi and work away. The Airtel tower is close at hand leading to good 4G network. The Wifi is from the 4G router connected to the Airtel network.

The WiFi is primarily for mobile devices. If you want to use your laptop please take note that the daily 1.5GB data package can finish faster. If you want to use more data then that can be arranged at an additional cost.

The signal is good within the cottage premises. And if you have an Airtel Sim with data, then the coverage across the 10 acres is good.


At night the verandah becomes a spot to stare into the estate from a height. The night skies are a stage from this room, especially during the monsoons when the heavy clouds and lightning makes glorious designs in the far off skies.

The estate attracts plenty of colourful birds and butterflies. You will actually wake up to their melodies that begin by 6.00 am and continue till 9.00 am. The mornings make for good timing and fab location for bird watchers and photographers.

Once the sun sets there a different sort of magic in the air where you get to see a number of birds probably returning home. Later into the evening the nocturnal creatures take their turn to make music while the stars dance designs for our pleasure in the night sky. Great for night photography as well.

Smoking is allowed in certain open areas.

There are some of our projects that are “on-going” in the yard. These include a swimming pool and a Coffee barn.

We are carrying out some maintenance activities in the month of Feb 2022. See you back on 5th March.

The Nagarahole national park and tiger reserve is 21 kms away, and the Iruupu water falls is 20 kms away from the Little Flower estate, for those of you who want to do some sight seeing. However if you are here for two or three days only, then I suggest you sit back to breathe in the crisp air, stroll, play, relax, eat up and sleep tight on the estate, and rejuvenate before you hit the road to drive home.

Im a outdoor enthusiast who enjoys the the company of people, a brisk walk while breathing in good air and a clean home. Alongside being a home maker and mother of a toddler I enjoy keeping home. My husband and I lived in Kuwait for more than a decade and now Im back home and stay in Bangalore. Our Coorg estate is always a welcome break with its lush green vegetation and way of life.

While in Kuwait we traveled a bit through the towns and villages of Italy, France, Switzerland, Chech Republic, Germany, and Austria. During these travels we realized that its in the small towns and in the villages that you actually get to taste the place and get the know the people and culture. So when we got back from Kuwait we thought we could share a bit of what we have so enjoyed during our travels. So thats what Little Flower Estate is all about. Here you will taste the local cuisine, and experience the perfect ways of nature in the functioning of the coffee estate.

When Im not on the estate, we have a dedicated caretaker who stays there with his family and looks after the estate and the cottage.
