Your private sunny room has a comfortable queen sized bed with view onto garden. The bedroom is right next to your bathroom with a bath and shower to choose from. In the room is a tallboy for clothes, bed side table and lamps, chair, towel rack plus a bench for your bag/s. The bedroom door has a lock for your privacy and security.

Your room is in a bright and sunny home; you will the rest of the home with the host. The is a beautiful expansive garden with views into a valley of trees and warm, sun-speckled verandah outside.
- 25 minutes walk to quaint and rustic Wentworth Falls village.
- 10 minutes by car or train to Katoomba.
- 900 meters to closest cafe (Conservation Hut).

Direct access from Sydney by Blue Mountains express train. Pick up service from station included. Excellent public transport access with bus stop 100 metres.

You might want to spend you visit exploring the mountains OR you might want to just chill out at 'Karinya'. Enjoy watching the changing skies, the view is beautiful no matter what the weather. Long back verandah runs the length of the house with lots of spots to sit and take in the view. The garden also offers several spots to sit too. If its cold or wet then enjoy the warmth of the house and sit in the sun or lounge rooms.

PLEASE NOTE: Two is maximum number of adults that can be accommodated.

On weekends I host creative workshops - silver jewellery, painting, perfume, collage, printing, card making, mandala - in my studio which is attached to the house - Ladybird Design Creative (check out on social media)

The Blue Mountains is a magical place any time of the year. Glowing in autumn, cool in winter, colourful in spring and refreshing in summer.

Wentworth Falls is a lovely village in the Blue Mountains with beautiful leafy nice streets, lanes and bush tracks to walk in. The small village shopping street has several cafes, restaurants, bakery, pub, take-away pizza and BBQ chicken as well as shops for browsing for gifts and antiques. There is also a chemist, butcher, bottle shop, mini supermarket and post office.

Close by is Wentworth Falls lake and Wentworth Falls waterfall, both beautiful spots for walks and picnics.

Leura and Katoomba are within 10 minutes drive, both with lots of cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops to brows in.

There are so many things to discover in the Blue Mountains.

I am a tree changer, left corporate life and moved to the Blue Mountains late 2017.

I love to explore, I have had many fantastic adventures, and have lots more planned. I enjoy hosting people in my home, on tours and in workshops, spending time getting to know about them and hear about their travel and adventures + sharing my local knowledge and passions.

I'll be here to welcome you and happy to have a chat, help you with suggestions on things to do during your stay. I can recommend walks (also have several walking books that you can borrow) as well as places of interest to visit or good restaurants and cafes to eat at.

I will also give you plenty of space and privacy.

I am generally available by telephone if away from the premises.

If you need to be picked up/dropped off at the train station please let me know.
