This listing is for the BLUE ROOM at Three Oaks Guest Inn. The BLUE ROOM is our largest bedroom and has a very comfy QUEEN size bed.

Three Oaks Guest Inn has cable TV (in the living room), wireless internet through out the whole house and much of the yard, and central air, but all 3 bedrooms and the family-style bathroom are all on the 2nd floor, so it is not handicap accessible.

Three Oaks Guest Inn was built in 1915. It is a cozy, fully furnished home with all its original oak woodwork, columns, built-ins & open stairway. There are 3 comfortable bedrooms.

The nicely decorated dining and living rooms, and fully furnished, modernized kitchen, make it perfect for either large or small groups...quiet family vacations, small meetings, bridal and baby showers, graduation receptions, birthday celebrations, girlfriend/scrap-booking/quilting getaways, family reunions, or any other sort of friendly get-togethers .

Three Oaks Guest Inn is a true 'home-away-from-home', however, like most 100+ year old homes, THE BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM ARE ON THE 2ND FLOOR.

Besides being on the river, we love the tall trees, large yards, older houses, friendly neighbors, and the overall peace and quiet, tho like anywhere, there may be an occasional vehicle with a louder than average muffler, or a neighbor's dog may briefly bark at someone walking by.

I am married with 3 grown kids, 6 grandkids, and had 2 furbabies who both passed from very old age in the summer of 2105. We adopted a new fur baby in the spring of 2016 whom we are thoroughly enjoying.

I like to read, garden, bake & do crafts. Hubby & I deliver Meals on Wheels most days, volunteer at church and the Senior Center, are involved in ham radio, and enjoy woodworking and working on our old houses.

My favorite saying is one I learned in high school.

We try to be there to greet our guests when they arrive, but if for some reason we can't be there in person, we ask them to call when they arrive so I can give them a 'phone tour'.

Depending on the guests, We may only visit long enough to go thru the basics of where things are, or if they have lots of questions or an interest, we can show them around outdoors, talk about the house's history, the guest's and our own families & backgrounds, were to go and what to see on our town, area, or state, or anything between. We can visit for a few minutes to a few hours, and are only a phone call away to answer any other questions.

I will text you the code for the door the day you are to arrive.
