This yurt is in a national park and surrounded by the breath taking geography of the Altai mountains. It is close to several lakes, waterfalls, and eagle hunters. There are many fun and exciting activities to do near and around this area.

In winter, we set up Gers on request of customers.
We can make some changes in place upon your interest.
This can be offered any time of year, for as many days as you prefer.

Tourists will stay in a traditional Kazakh ger with handmade, embroidered, Kazakh decorations covering the walls and ceiling. The yurt is heated by a traditional, wood burning stove that is also used for cooking. It is surrounded by snow capped Altai mountains and is located inside of the Tavan Bogd National Park.

Welcome to the land of Altai Tavan-Bogd National Park!

Call me Peka. Our company is family-owned and run and we make sure you feel like a part of our family.

My family and I live in Ulgii province, but we have another house (Ger/Yurt) close to the Chinese border in the summer.
We have several housing arrangements in Ulgii and the countryside for tourists to stay in during the summer. Our favorite house for tourists to stay in is a Ger next to my family Ger near the Chinese border. This allows tourists a unique opportunity to see how a Kazakh family does daily chores and activities and we encourage tourists to participate in a herder's lifestyle.

Our tours are focused on the interests of the tourists who come to visit. We want your time here in Mongolia to be unique and unforgettable, so we go above and beyond to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We have many different activities to participate in and places to visit:

Live like a Kazakh herdsman. Milking horses and cows, herding yaks, goats, and sheep, eating naturally dried curds, and drinking fermented Mares milk.

Travel by horse and camel to the base camp,
Seeing Potanin Glacier, the highest Mountain in Mongolia, and Altai's Five Saints
Tsambagarav Nat'l Park
Khuiten Peak climbing
Find petroglyphs and Turkic stones along the way to new destinations.
Seeing "Shiveet Hairhan" Sacred Mountain, where you can see petroglyphs ( approx 200 B.C ).
Visit and learn from herdsmen and Eagle hunters about their culture and Nomadic lifestyle.
