Nature's Gate is located on a quiet street and is set back from the main road offering privacy and sanctuary. We are in the farmlands of Southern Washington County amidst cornfields, rivers and lakes.

For summer travelers the Battenkill river has an amazing swimming / fishing hole within minutes of the property. Wonderful biking, water adventures and hiking, or local shopping, music and lovely restaurants nearby.
Summer and Fall festivals abound in the area and the Saratoga Horse Track is 45 minutes away.

Winter travelers will enjoy the Hearthstone fireplace in the living room and X-Country skiing on the trails. Downhill skiing is available locally in Greenwich or at one of the many ski centers in Vermont or NY.

I grew up traveling and love to meet fellow travelers. Part of the joy of hosting is to get to meet people from different walks of life. My hosting style is welcoming and casual. I am happy to help you with recommendations on what to do or where to go in the area. If you prefer privacy and quiet, there is a lot of that here.
