The house was built in 1875 in Victorian gothic style. It is located in the beautiful village of Pontesbury on the edge of The Shropshire Hills, an AONB. The village has a Co-op, local butchers/bakers, 3 pubs, chip shop, a Chinese and an Indian restaurant and many other amenities. It is 7 miles from the county town of Shrewsbury with a direct bus link within a 2 minute walk of the property. There is a large network of rights of way heading into the hills from the front door.
