We would love you to come & enjoy our studio apartment in the heart of the Okarito brown kiwi sanctuary. It's a 10 minutes drive to the Okarito beach, 15 minutes to Franz Josef township/Glacier road & 15 minutes to Whataroa. Here we are amongst one of New Zealand's most bird-friendly forests, with nearby Okarito Lagoon hosting over 70 bird species. The Zalas & Okarito river, which come from nearby glaciers, run on either side of the property, providing the relaxing sound of birds & running water

The Tower, Okarito
The Tower is a comfortable two storey, seperate building with an upstairs bedroom with ensuite bathroom. It has excellent views of the sea and the Southern Alps. A warm, cosy and quiet space with a private garden. Free Wifi (system fully upgraded August 2021)
Downstairs is the living room / kitchenette area. Upstairs and downstairs are connected by external stairs (see photos).
Awesome outdoor bath - great for stargazing (new Aug 22).
There are balconies on three sides of the tower.
