The Homestead, Walkersons Estate

Welcome to The Homestead@Walkersons The house has an open plan dining area, living area with a fireplace & kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining & family gatherings. The estate (at over 7km2) has mountain springs, forests & waterfalls. There are fantastic walking, cycling & running paths including trail paths on the Wildlife Reserve. The Estate has a runway & Helipad that can be used if arranged. The house is cleaned on Tuesday & Thursdays, other days can be arranged at additional cost.

The Seed Pod

The Seed Pod, This is a typical farm house located under a well established canopy of giant thorn trees old gnarled lead-wood and has a stunning view of the southern side of the Marakele National Park Mountains. Around the house there are numerous animals such as Nyala, Sable and Impala not to mention all the bird life. We have a caterer available should you wish someone to cook for you on your behalf. Just bring your own food. R450 extra per day in cash. Booking well in advance is essential

The Watermill Cabin

Nestled among ancient pines, the 50-year-old cabin stands on the banks of the Broederstroom River, overlooking a magical waterfall. A 2km gravel road drive from Haenertsburg. ( Accessible to most cars, not sports cars) will bring you to the charming cabin. A double story with the bedroom on the first floor ( mind the steps) and the fully self-catering living space and bathroom, downstairs. A few feet from the cabin, you will have your own private deck with braai facilities. Enjoy!

Wild Fig Accommodation

Situated just outside Tzaneen along the R71, this beautifully put together unit feels spacious and comfortably kitted out. On route to the Kruger Park. Farm walks available. Large smart TV offering Netflix. The lush and shady private garden, is fenced off & features a braai & outdoor eating area. The garden is lit up in the evening, creating a perfect spot to enjoy meals and relax. Pool & entertainment area available in designated hours. Pre-ordered breakfasts & dinners are available.

Oak View House is a Self-Catering Home within Walkersons Private Estate, just outside of Dullstroom. It is the best place to relax, recharge and enjoy some quality time with your loved ones. Perfect for a family getaway or a weekend away with some friends. Take in the spectacular elevated view of the surroundings of the estate and the stylish interior the house has to offer. Oak View is equipped with Solar Panels so that you can still enjoy the house to its fullest during Loadshedding.

Black Eagle Lake House offers a truly relaxing escape in the bush. It is the perfect choice for nature-loving families or groups visiting this beautiful part of Mpumalanga.
