The house is very large, around 250 square meters and with a high quality finish throughout. It is divided into two main buildings which are joined together by a central part made entirely of iron and glass.
The building was developed from a group of ancient farm buildings and has been designed in such a way as to be both modern and environmentally sustainable.
The laminated copper roofing provides sufficient heating for all domestic needs and the large windows help to warm the house from direct sunlight on cold winter days. The heaters are fuelled by firewood provided by prunings from our woods.
Semi-wild Limousine cattle are bred in the surrounding fields and are in complete harmony with the enclosing countryside. We also have a small community of laying hens within the property which provide eggs for us and our guests.
Access for guests
Guests have access to the house and the large garden. You are able to walk around the grounds, within which there is a creek with sparkling blue waters.

I live in the house next door and am always available to give advice about the area or to help with any problems. If you like, I can provide you with some eggs from my hen house and produce from the gardens.
The property is located in the heart of the Pistoiese mountains, on the borders of a World Wildlife Fund reserve of over 1,000 unspoiled hectares, filled with everything from deer to wolves. There are also hiking, biking, and riding trails galore.
