Nearby Lauder village offers a great coffee stop at the Stationside Cafe. The Lauder Hotel is perfect for an evening meal but it is advised to book a table ahead. The cottage has a full kitchen if you prefer home dining.

Lauderburn House B&B - Matuku Moana SleepoutLauderburn House or "The Doctor's House" was built in the 1920s and is based right next to the Otago Central Rail Trail. Matuku Moana is our sleepout located benhind the house and is seperate from the main building. It has a double bed and shares an outdoor bathroom with the guests in our glamping tent. The bathroom has a wood-fired bath, a gas heated shower and a composting toilet. Continental breakfast is included and we provide cereal, museli, toast, homemade preserves and our own honey
