Beautiful walks, private stay, self check-inThe Mill, formerly the sawmill for Borthwick Hall, is a charming property built in the 1800s. The conversion of the building was completed in 2003 and is now a wonderful family home. My husband, Steve, and I moved up to Scotland from London in December 2017 and absolutely love it up here. With lovely people and beautiful open spaces, it’s the perfect place for us to relax and raise our kids. We love having friends and family visit and look forward to offering our space to guests as well.
Secluded barn conversion in Scottish Borders.A completely self-contained barn conversion which offers a large living space with wonderful original features and beautiful rural views in the Scottish Borders. It's a forty minute drive into the centre of Edinburgh and an hour and a half drive to Callander- known as the Gateway to the Highlands. Closer still are historic abbey's, castles and stunning scenery like Scott's View. Underfloor heating, a wood stove and a large 55" 4K OLED TV with iPlayer, Netflix etc make it a cosy place to relax.
A lovely comfortable refurbished country cottageMy place is close to public transport. You’ll love the cottage because of the outdoors space and the ambiance. The cottage is ideal for couples. The Scottish tourist board rate our cottage as four star standard. You are in the heart of the country but only 40 minutes from Edinburgh and most of the Scottish borders towns. Rolling hills, lots of walking, interesting places to see historical, cultural and modern.
